Are You Saved?

Psalm 51:7 (NCV) Take away my sin, and I will be clean.  Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

With Easter coming up this Sunday I am reminded of the goodness of God and of what He has done for me.  I am reminded of where I was and the road I was on before I truly made Jesus Lord of my Life and this made me wander...

Are you Saved?  Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior?  Do you know for sure that when you leave this earth you will be in Heaven with God FOREVER?

We will all LIVE FOREVER.  The question is where?

If you do not know for sure in your heart that Jesus is your Lord, I want to invite you to know him.

John 3:16 and 17 says For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

John 10:10 and 11 says The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Romans 10:9 and 10 says If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

It is very simple.  Believe in your heart and Confess with your mouth.

Come to Jesus just as you are.  You can never get "good enough" to be deserving of this gift He has freely given us.

If you do not know Jesus as your Savior and You would like to, Pray this prayer out loud right now.

Heavenly Father, I confess that I am a sinner and I ask you to cleanse me and forgive me from all of my sins.  I believe in my heart that Jesus is Your Son, that He died to save me and was buried and raised again.   Lord Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart right now.  I declare that You are my Lord.  Thank you Jesus for Saving me.  Amen.

Hallelujah!  If you prayed that prayer just now please leave me a comment to let me know so that I may pray for you.

  3. Such a lovely post, Jen! I will pray for those whose lives this will touch!

I love that you mentioned that we can never get good enough. We don't have to wait to try and get "good enough" for God, because we can't, just as you said. That's why we need a Savior!

Thanks for linking up to "Making Your Home Sing Monday" today! :)
